ABOUT ME

Hello and Welcome to the Squint Zone!

My name is Mrs. Coriell and I love all things Science.  Most of all I love teaching science! This is my 9th year of teaching science, but my 29th year working in the Glenns Ferry School District...Yep, I'm a GF Pilot FOREVER! 🥰

My husband Mark and I have been married for 40 years and have 3 children. Two girls and one boy. We have eight wonderful grandchildren and two fur babies. You'll hear a lot about Skeeter the black lab and Dave the one-eyed orange pirate cat. Yes, even our pets are Pilot colors!

I have a few hobbies. Science, science, and more science, although I do like to read and garden.

I am a rock collector. You will notice this when you enter our classroom. My family, friends, and students bring me rocks from all over the world! Don't be surprised when I get a little crazy over a new rock...It makes my heart happy 🤗

I love cheesy science jokes, old black and white movies (especially the low budget sci-fi ones), and two movies that really inspire me are Hidden Figures and The School of Life.

 

MY favorite superhero is Iron Man...I would love to have his laboratory!
